Film, Criteria, and Judgment (Dan Morgan Lecture)

Dan Morgan is associate professor in the Department of Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Chicago. In 2013, he published Late Godard and the Possibilities of Cinema with the University of California Press. His awards and fellowships include a fellowship at the Humanities Center of University of Pittsburgh (Spring 2012) and the Chester Dale Fellowship at the Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts (National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C., 2006-2007). In his talk, he will be discussing his current project, Film, Criteria, and Judgment.
