Autumn Meeting of the West Virginia Philosophical Society

The Autumn meeting of the West Virginia Philosophical Society will be held at the Johnstown campus on October 9th and 10th. The keynote address will be a panel discussion on the ethics of novelist/philosopher Ayn Rand, known as Objectivism. Papers during the session both days will cover various topics in ethics, philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, aesthetics, and philosophy of religion.

This event is also sponsord by the Office of Academic Affairs and the Humanities Division of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. The meeting will begin at 12:30 pm on October 9th followed by the keynote session at 7 pm. Saturday's sessions will run from 9 am to 1 pm.
